Excellent class! This is perfect for someone who has some basic camera experience and wants to learn about shooting portraits. Thomas is a great teacher who showed us how to use natural light in different ways while shooting. I love the photos I got! Thank you, Thomas!

My experience taking Thomas's workshop is 10/10! Thomas is a great teacher and does a very nice job of breaking down the manual parts of the camera to someone new to it. This workshop is an excellent value. I will surely be taking any other classes Thomas offers. Looking forward to the next one! Thank you, Thomas!!

Enjoyed the event. Received lots of good information to start my hobby of taking pictures with my Canon camera. Walking Balboa was fun and I learned and practiced the photography basics. I had time to focus on thinking the settings of the shot before taking it and review of shots taken to answer all my questions. I would recommend the class. The class objectives were met. This class has gotten me more excited about spending time taking pictures with my camera. Thomas is a good teacher and enjoys sharing his knowledge at the appropriate student level.

This photo was taken during one of my early morning walks on the Cabrillo Bridge in San Diego. I was captivated by how beautifully the lamps were decorated with Christmas bows, perfectly aligning with the path leading to the Museum of Us and the iconic California Tower in the background. This is Craig, a Big Tusker?a term used to describe elephants with exceptionally long tusks. Craig is believed to be the oldest living Big Tusker in Kenya, boasting the longest tusks in the country. Title or Location: Photo was taken ar the Will Rogers tower in the cultural district of Fort Worth, TX.
I wanted to shoot the lunar eclipse but at the same time incorporate some quintessential Fort Worth icons into the image for context. I knew I would need to use a very long telephoto to get a large moon but in doing so knew that the rest of the image would need to be some distance from me due to the tunnel vision of the telephoto. I used Photopills and The Photographer?s Ephemeris to plan the shot which was taken with Fuji X system mirrorless equipment.

Having spent a winter of dark clouds, rain and dull skies, it was an opportunity to make the most of the year's new beautiful March sunshine.
